We work with experienced creators to teach their craft in real depth, and we hold everything we do to a high standard, from the courses we choose to publish to how we localise them, pay our instructors, and price our work.

Every instructor is an experienced creator we have personally invited, and their course is developed with input and feedback towards meeting a high standard. Prentora courses are developed with a focus on the theory of learning and expertise. Our courses are not just a set of steps to follow like you might see in a tutorial video, they are designed to enable you to ask the right questions of your own work to steer self-feedback and growth. Every course teaches a complete professional workflow in depth, from first brief to finished work.
Global expertise
The best experts in a field can be found all over the world, but most learning platforms focus on a single region and treat translation as an afterthought. We hold localisation to a high bar of quality, translating our courses into all of the major languages we support using a proprietary multi-layered approach which goes well beyond normal machine translation. Not only do we provide subtitles and dubbed audio for each language, but printed and handwritten text that appears on screen or in downloadable resources is also translated.
Fair to instructors
Instructors on Prentora earn 70% to 85% of the proceeds from every sale. We do not use a subscription model, because this forces instructors to compete for minutes watched, which in turn incentivizes the wrong kind of content rather than high quality learning materials. In addition, instructors retain full ownership of all of their content and we never use exclusivity agreements, because we want to be as fair and friendly as possible.
Honest pricing
The price you see is the price you pay, with no fake sales on an endless loop and no huge discounts that only suggest a course was never worth its list price. We set a high quality bar and price our courses to reflect it. Because there is no subscription, every course you buy remains yours. We do not put DRM around our videos, meaning you can download them for personal use. We would rather give paying customers a quality product at a fair price than make the experience worse for everyone in an attempt to fight piracy.

No. Prentora operates on a pay-per-course model. You purchase individual courses that interest you, and you own lifetime access to them. There are no recurring fees or subscriptions.
Most courses include a trailer video and a free sample lesson so you can experience the instructor's teaching style and course quality before purchasing.
Every course on Prentora includes dubbed audio and subtitles in all 7 languages we support: English, French, Spanish, Korean, Japanese, Traditional Chinese, and Simplified Chinese. While the instructor's original audio remains in their native language, we also dub that audio into the languages we support, ensuring an accessible learning experience for students worldwide. Our video player allows you to switch between your choice of language for both audio and subtitles independently. Downloadable resources are translated into the languages we support too, so students can work from them in their own language.
Prentora exists to help people develop their creative skills through human instruction. We believe AI should empower creators by handling non-creative tasks, allowing artists to focus more time on their craft. To make courses accessible across languages, we use a proprietary, multi-layered localisation process that goes well beyond ordinary machine translation, but we will not promote generative AI tools that replace human creativity or artistic expression. Courses focused on using generative AI as a substitute for creative skill development are not permitted on Prentora.
No. Each Prentora account is for personal use by a single individual. Sharing your account credentials violates our Terms of Service and undermines the revenue that supports course creators. If we detect account sharing, we will suspend your account. If multiple people want to take a course, each person needs their own account.
